Gillis Gilkerson Brings National Storage Company to Salisbury

SALISBURY, MD – March 4, 2019 – Gillis Gilkerson, one of the most stable and trusted Construction Management, General Contracting and Development firms on Delmarva, today announced an agreement with CubeSmart, a national storage company and second largest operator in the United States, for CubeSmart to occupy 70,000 square feet at 600 Glen Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland. Gillis Gilkerson started construction on the interior fit out of the space this month and is on schedule to complete renovations by spring, 2019.

Gillis Gilkerson purchased 600 Glen Avenue, the former site of Labinal Power Systems, a 160,000 square foot building on 12 acres in Salisbury in March, 2017. In September, 2018, Pure Family Fitness hired Gillis Gilkerson to complete site improvements and exterior renovations including new storefront windows and doors along the front face of the building. Pure Family Fitness now occupies 60,000 square feet of the building.
