Gillis Gilkerson Welcomes Daniel Ash to the Project Management and Estimating Teams

SALISBURY, MD – October 11, 2018 – Gillis Gilkerson, one of the most stable and trusted general contracting and construction management firms on Delmarva, announced the addition of assistant project manager and assistant estimator Daniel Ash to the company in September 2018. 

“It’s exciting to bring a new and experienced perspective to Gillis Gilkerson,” said Dwight Miller, president, Gillis Gilkerson.  “With Daniel’s experience and enthusiasm, he has already proven to be a great addition to the team.”

Ash is responsible for supporting the company’s estimating department, project managers and field personnel.  This will include maintaining estimate and project logs, reviewing contracts, generating requests for information, assisting in processing shop drawings and submittals, managing the change order process and providing assistance in project oversight and collaboration.    

Six years in the construction industry, Ash has previous experience providing collaborative services between general labor and management, along with product management.  He graduated from Wilmington University with a bachelor’s of science psychology in 2016 and certificate in conflict resolution.  He is on track to earn his master’s in business administration in May, 2019.
